Since we have a camera and Kenia, I wanted to try taking a couple pictures. I still need to figure out lighting, but it was still fun to try :)

Christmas in Hermosillo
Jamir is really excited about the tent from Sugey |
We made tamales! So I know how it's done, but who knows if I can copy it |
For abuelita's birthday the cousins and family got together to eat carne asada. There were puppies so of course I had to hold them! |
Josue loves to play with the kids |
The next day we got up early and took a boat ride |
Jamir discovered it was fun to ride the waves at the front |
So we all joined him |
But then he promptly got sick and threw up three times |
He spent the next 4 hours like this |
Eating the fish with salsa and lime. A little too raw for me |
Happy to be back on land |
The last day we hiked up the famous hill in Hermosillo |
You can see the whole city |
our attempt at a panorama |
Rest of the time in Mexico City
The last days we walked around a lot to see the architecture and markets. Best way to experience Mexico City is by walking and subway.
View from the outdoor pool |
The park across the street from our hotel |
Inside Bellas Artes, an art building in historic Mexico |
The view of downtown |
This building was already a couple feet below the rest of the city because it was sinking |
Mural of the history of Mexico. Really cool |
And we were able to meet with some of Jamir's old friends from high school the last day |
