Scottish Festival, Apricots and Car show

This weekend we had a busy Saturday.  We got up to Yard Sale (looking for the camping items-gotta get ready for Zions Park), Scottish Festival in Payson, picking apricots from a coworker's yard, Draper temple, Chuck-a-Rama, and car show.  We wanted to practice rock climbing for our trip, but we were too tired after the car show.  Very fun though.  I very much value the weekend since it is the only time I have to relax, but always spend it doing a million things.  That's why during the week we have to do fun things as well so it doesn't feel like I just work all the time.

Picking Apricots

I plan on making a lot of Apricot Jam and leather!

My first time doing sealings in the Draper Temple. We had met my parents at the Nissan dealership where they were getting their car serviced and everyone laughed as we drove up in our "vintage" (thats what I'm calling it) Nissan.  I love my car. I'm so happy to have it back with all its fun memories, so I'm gonna drive it till it dies.

Dad at the car show. He gets really excited about it- told us all about the new 1971 convertible he is gonna fix up for his latest project.  This is the car from "Cars"
Stud with all the cars.  I think the oldest one was from 1927. Pretty cool

They had lots of stands with Fairies and Swords. I think Jair would be in heaven.

Found Lopez in the history.  Couldn't find Steflik though. Too uncommon I guess.

Gryffindor!

The men in kilts doing "Manly games" like on Brave

Thought Cam would appreciate this.

They had Scottish Dancers with really curly wigs behind us. They were cute little girls and really good!

And....I made my first fresh cherry pie today! It turned out great.  Lot of work!
