Cinco de Mayo is an American thing. Mexico doesn't really celebrate it. BUT we are always looking for an excuse to get out the papel picado and grill some meat for tacos.
The field behind our backyard is full of wildflowers right now. It's so beautiful. We had an unexpected visitor show up so in true Mexican fashion she was invited for dinner and gave us advice while we took pictures in the field.
