I started my new job today. I got to make this! Its for a floral arranging place. There are a lot of funerals in St George (old people) so I will be making more of them. I'm really excited to be able to be creative at work! And I get to pretend I have pet bird :) It squawks all the time.

Pioneer Park
In our spare time we went to Pioneer Park. It was really cool. It has tons of rock formations and caves to climb on and under. We will definitely be visiting it again!
To Jamir's right is the lookout point to see all of St George
You can repel off this cliff. We will be doing that soon
Welcome sun! But we will be coming back at night to see the the city.

Sewing Machine
Not to copy Jenna's posts, but I redid my sewing machine cabinet! I have been meaning to do it for a while and with the cold weather we've been inside for too long so now I actually wanted to do it.
Ugly. I added the new knobs. The old ones were ugly.
After getting all the old paint off, it was turned into a pretty red wood. You can see the shape of the old ugly knobs.
After!

Sacramento
We have been doing a lot of driving lately. We got to go to Sacramento for an interview for Jamir (vacation for me) and see the city a little bit. It is beautiful (and warm) there. I love all the trees and plants covering the streets. We were able to visit the temple, and spend some time down town at the parks, old town, and the capitol.
Hemos estado manenjado mucho ultimamente.
The only downside is driving in downtown...next time we will take the bus.
The beautiful capitol. The tree to my left is a sweet orange and it smelled soo good.
I was really excited about the poppys. I can't wait to grow a garden!
I loved how tall the pines were. Reminded me of Fl, although I think they are taller here!

Making the Best of Winter
For our Christmas present, Uncle Phil took us ice fishing. It was great for Jamir to improve his skills for scouting. I caught two fish and Jamir caught one (but his was the biggest :) Phil gave us a picture frame for our big fish picture because now we are master fishermen and have a pic of our fish!
Learning to drill the hole.
Worming the hook.
They weren't biting at first...so waiting was the hardest part.
The first fish caught by Phil.
I won't touch the fish. I can't handle it :)
We had some fun riding the 4 wheeler.
Back in Provo. We took these on the first day of snow...I was excited, now not so much.
We went with the Lopez family snow tubing in Midway.

Happy Three Years!/ Feliz tercer aniversario!
Jamir and I celebrated our third anniversary this last weekend. It's funny how in Utah we feel like we have been married a long time because everyone is newly married here, but in reality its not that long at all. But they have been a great three years. I never could have imagined marrying such an amazing guy who has everything I need.

Amy y yo celebramos nuestro aniversario este fin de semana. Han sido 3 años increÃbles. Soy muy afortunado de tener a Amy como esposa.

Where we ate. We love hamburgers and this place was really good!

We saw Elf on U of U campus. It was really cute!
We stayed in Salt Lake on Friday and then had an awesome Kneaders breakfast. I want to eat there everyday it was so good!
Then we wandered around Temple Square to be at the spot right when we got married 3 years ago.
It was nice because there was hardly anyone there compared to nightime when it is swamped with people.
Then we met Jamir's family and had lunch at the Grand America Hotel. It's a cute old place with a lot of charm. This is Oliver, the new nephew.
The hotel had displays of elves and Christmasy stuff and I thought of Ruby here so took a pic
Very LARGE gingerbread house. Why we came. It was pretty cool how detailed it was.
And then we went ice skating at Gallivan Plaza.
Jamir's mom was learning to skate-must be a result of no cold in Mexico
Our attempt to stay balanced...didn't quite work.
And then Sunday we had to stop at the temple to get a couple pics with the lights on.
