4 Years!

We had a fun get away in Medford for our anniversary. It still rained, but it was surprisingly warmer than Coos Bay. We did a quick stop at the temple, ate hamburgers (of course, our favorite), spent some time in the mall (I actually like the crowds of Christmas), and walked around the quaint town of Ashland (about 20 mins south). Then in the morning we walked around Lithia Park, attended the Spanish branch, and met with Jamir's family for dinner.

It was nice to get out of the smallness of home and explore. I'm so glad to have Jamir as a wonderful, attentive and hard working husband. It was an awesome get away. Here's to many more years!

Medford Temple

We are excited that eventually we will be close to the temple!

In the cute hotel.

Downtown Ashland. The whole main street was lit up.

Yay for the mall!

Lithia Park. In the building to the left they have a Shakespeare Festival in the summer.

It was flooded like crazy!

Thought this was funny.

The land Jamir is developing right now.

Christmasy Things

Here's what's been going on around here lately...

Our tree! Jamir says it looks like it should be in Whoville.

By the North Bend bridge

Of course, we had a fotoshoot for our Christmas cards. Our tripod is a great photographer :)

This is what we do when we are bored...
Playing with lights. I am gonna try to actually write something come July.

First time sending Christmas cards! Heath Ledger in "A Knight's Tale" as our background.

Who knows if I will keep sending them each year, but it was fun.

Sunset Bay 5k. It was fun! We came in 8th and 9th overall.

Enjoying the sun. We can actually see our shadows.

Friendly ducks biting my fingers. They ran away from Jamir.

When ducks attack!

Mingus park bridge

My favorite Christmas treat, chocolate covered pretzels.

Ward Christmas party photo booth

Playing a duet for the Christmas program.
Jamir found a keyboard off Craigslist for 20$. Since then there has been no end to the practicing.

He also made the amazing plywood stand...

Thanksgiving Weekend

Dad, Mom, and Grandma made the 11 hour drive to Oregon for Thanksgiving. We were able to eat a good dinner with the folding table they brought. Choco also drove down for dinner. We were able to show them around Coos Bay including the shore acres holiday lights, Jamir's office and the beaches. And we got our Christmas tree on Friday. It was pouring! But it was fun nonetheless. Thanks for making the drive!

Thanksgiving Turkey Trot. Also started raining so we were soaked!

Later we played with ward members in the Turkey Bowl. It was sooo muddy, but fun.

Thanksgiving dinner

Soaked again! Our beautiful tree.

Shore Acres Lights. There were so many! It was beautiful. The blurry spots are rain drops on the lens.

Grandma and Jamir.

One of the whale displays. My makeshift poncho with a plastic bag.

I loved how it was not only lights, but different animal shapes.

The cute house with cider and cookies.

Look at his sweatshirt. It rained so much, but made it memorable.

Venturing out onto cold Bastendorff Beach

Freezing parents. Not like Florida beaches huh Dad?

Sea Lions

Dad trying to feed the ducks with two cheerios he found in the car. They were more interested in the big bad of popcorn a lady brought.

This is mostly me playing with my new camera. But also to represent us getting out all the Christmas stuff! yay!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful to have the knowledge of the gospel and an eternal family!
