9 Months

He is 9 months! The last month he has grown a lot. I think he is a big boy. We will see at his appointment next week. Ben is very active. He crawls very fast, and stands up on everything. He is getting better at balancing so maybe he will walk soon? His favorite activities include; taking things out of boxes/drawers, banging loud objects in the kitchen, playing (pulling and hitting) with Manolo, going on walks with me, looking around in stores, and roughing with his papa. He loves to feed himself small bites of bread or pasta if he can. He loves all dogs and cats and usually screams when he sees them. He is very curious and smart.
His hair is getting long (another haircut will be soon) and it has a nice wave/curl to it. He has three upper teeth and two bottom. He is the most social, happy baby. Different people say to us that he is the best baby they have ever seen and ask if he ever cries. Let hope he keeps that trait :)
We love him so much!

p.s. pictures are much harder now that he can move so fast!

he also loves his pacifier.

on the move before I can get a shot

"Mom, why are we doing this?"

too hard for me to get a decent one.

he loves the keyboard. He can bang on it all day.

Fall Photos

It's been a while since I made Jamir and Ben take pictures with me. I found a coupon on groupon for a cafe in Ashland so I figured I could use that as an excuse to take a trip down there to see the leaves. We had a nice brunch while Ben people watched. I wanted to go to Lithia Park to take some fall pictures, but we ran into a gay parade. It was colorful. Ashland is known for stuff like that. Anyway, we were able to get past all the traffic and see some fall colors. Ashland is beautiful.

test shot. Ben is such an entertainer. People always stop to say hi and he gives the biggest smile.

Cultural Night, General Conference, and a new kitchen

Fall is here! The weather is cool and rainy. I love watching the fog from our view in the kitchen. Jamir is liking his new job much better and we are enjoying the festivities. We had a cultural night with our branch. It was fun, although a little stressful to pull of the dancing. Jamir and I also played "Cellito Lindo" while the audience sang at the end.
Other than that we had a relaxing general conference weekend where we took Ben on his first bike ride.

Ben has a sweet tooth.

The bright colors. I wasn't excited about the costume, but tried to be a good sport.

attack of the bean baby.

I love his little waves...eating a plum

meeting Dad for lunch downtown

"helping"

the tricycle found on cl. I will probably hide it until he is 3 and give it as a bday present.

I don't know what happened to the bike carrier mom and dad had, but I found an almost identical one so it worked

he was great the whole time. Not a peep, just looking around

keeping warm as we build a fire after general conference

we didn't have buns, so Jamir thought of using dough to wrap around the hot dogs..it was pretty good.

fire got a little big

the table I found.

chewing, always chewing

pretty mums Jamir got me and pumpkins from our garden

stick ons...he pretty much tore all of them off. They are higher now.

tasting each one

Finished!!! I was so happy. I still have to paint next to the fridge and few touch ups, but I am so happy to be done!
