Happy Easter!

No egg hunts for us. And sadly we did not do a piñata this year. It kind of creeped up on us. Next year will be a must since Ben will be more aware and could probably help! We just had a relaxing Sunday eating ham and taking pics to document Ben's first Easter.

Field Photos

I get discouraged about my photography sometimes. I just want to be GOOD. I've come to find that it is something that requires constant learning. I can say that I look back at past photos and see how far I have come. I used to be so fascinated about how to get blurry backgrounds! Anyways, one of the things that I am learning is to just be creative for myself. Not to look at other photos and try to do their style. Do my own thing. I mean, who else is even looking at them besides me right? So I've made a commitment to myself to be creative for myself from here on out. Not on what I think others might think is good.

I saw this field of flowers while Jamir and I were driving around last week. I about died. It was so beautiful and so vast! We didn't even walk to the edge of it (I was scared of snakes or whatnot) but the photos show some of the prettiness of it. And the best part was that it was totally deserted! Thankgoodness I have Jamir who will take part in my passion and be a good sport about it.

Even though I have a remote I still have to be close enough to get it to go off...hence the running. And the out of focus pictures. I wish I could be in two places at once sometimes.
