Ben turns 3!

Benji is 3! How time flies. So much has happened since he was born and it's crazy to think they he will go to school in two years. Ben is very smart, social, passionate, headstrong, and independent. He will be a leader for sure. He loves his friends and nursery. He loves dinosaurs, running outside, pretending to be a superhero, and recently, building things. He is fun to listen to when he pretends play. He likes to say thing are "his favorite" although he says everything is his favorite. He loves Danny, and is a good big brother. Oh Benji.

For his party, we had a few friends come; the neighbors, Jamir's coworker, and my running friend. We made a sandbox that they could dig for dinosaurs and put Jerrasic Park music in the background. I made chocolate cupcakes with dinosaurs on them and a little cake for Ben. Ben had a blast with his friends and that's all that mattered. At the end, the neighbor friends did a parade on their bikes for him as a present. It was really cute and a great way to end.

Christmas, and Pesky the Dog

We got back from our trip in time for Christmas Eve and Christmas! It was great timing because we had two days to ourselves where we worked on projects, went to a friend's house for dinner, opened presents and relaxed a little. Then Sugey and Karly came and brought us Pesky! It has been an adjustment, but each day he is getting use to us more and we are getting use to him. I think we are figuring out a happy arrangement.
