4th of July


Here's what we did...


took a nap Friday preparing for the festivities

crawled all over Mom waiting for Dad to get home (he doesn't sit still)
had hot dogs for dinner with banana peppers from our garden.

read bed time stories in Spanish.


ate toes


slept in Mom and Dad's bed for morning nap

tolerated car seat 


Hiked Roxy Ann Peak.


wore a cute red hat

fell asleep on the way down.


went fishing at a coworkers pond.

caught a rainbow trout.

Ben helped


ate watermelon


took pictures Sunday morning (this was the only one that turned out)

played with Manolo


ate mini cherry pies
napped with Mom and Dad after 5 a.m. wake up
caught a mouse as an independence day present. (SiDE NOTE: he has caught a snake, two dragonflys, and two birds that we know of, one brought in the house. I close the sliding door now)

watched the parade



thought the hat was more interesting
went Cantrall Buckley park with friends from the ward


played volleyball while the hermanas watched Ben. Our family away from family.

ate applesauce and oatmeal in the backyard


hung out with our chickens

had a fire.

finished with some cherry pies and a firework show we watched from the front yard (along with many illegal fireworks from other people's yards)

It was a pretty good weekend. Now to detox from all the food we ate!
