Table Rock hikes, Pinata progress, Portland children's museum

Ben is quite the independent toddler. As in, he does things his own way. He does not like to hold your hand as we walk together, and he has to be exploring. I worried that he has TOO much energy. But I suppose that is a good thing for his curiosity to grow. He just discovered his tongue the other day. It was pretty funny-him sticking it out and touching it with his fingers. He also can high five and loves it. He is always trying to keep up with the older kids and loves to play with everyone.

We took two weekends to do the upper and lower Table Rock hikes here. Upper and lower just refers to their point along the rouge river. They are both great short hikes and have great views at the top. Ben insisted on hiking himself. His wobbly legs were all over as he tried to balance. He fell and a small rock made a dent in his forehead. It's all gone now!

enjoying a nice day outside.
