Day 2; Xel-Ha

After a good night's sleep in Playa del Carmen, we headed to Xel-Ha. Another park, but this one is mostly for swimming activities (and endless buffet!). It was so relaxing and beautiful to snorkle with fish, lay on tubes, and eat to our heart's content.
After Xel-Ha, we visited the beach in Playa del Carmen close to our hotel, ate some really good tacos al pastor, and walked 5th Avenue (a popular shopping and tourist place). There is nothing quite like walking Mexico at night past little stores with music playing and warm air breezing through...ahh I miss it.

Biking the path at Xel-Ha. Such a jungle.

Snorkling. Thought Jamir looked cute in his hat.
The water felt so nice! You will have to excuse the ring in the next pictures.

Trying a little zipline into the water. Don't worry, I went slow.

Enjoying a pina colata with a view of the beach

More tubing after lunch

Canopy walk

After a long trip to get here, I was really excited the housekeeper folded our towels into swans :) It made it better.

The beach at Playa del Carmen

Blown out pic of me. 16.5 weeks.

My favorite meal; tacos al pastor.
5th ave.
Jamir really wanted this chicken puzzle for our baby. He says he going to make it. I'm holding him to it.

Eating ice cream while listening to a live band...not a bad way to end the day.
