Summer festivities

It's the end of August already! This month we enjoyed gardening, swimming, camping, boating, canning, working on projects and fruit! Ben is getting more and more used to standing, I'm afraid he might walk before I'm ready.
I'm torn between wanting it to cool down and be fall and having it hold out a little longer for summer. We still have some things on our bucket list so hopefully a few more weeks of warm!
Picking apples. Craigslist frequently has people who offer for free their fruit from their trees.

These turned into pie filling and applesauce.

The last of the pear harvest

Getting caught

One day at lost Creek lake.

Trying to contain him in the raft while we eat. It didn't work

Exhausted on the way home

Street dance in Eagle point.

Looks like King Benjamin

The new growth from the wisteria mom bought

Our garden. It has pumpkins, watermelon, cantelope, peppers, tomatoes, kale, corn and zucchini. Unfortunately the corn didn't do so well. I think we planted everything too close

First time growing cantelope

Making a mess

No personal space

I always find him like this.

The island is done! I'm going to be so happy when it's done

Ben's eating on the floor box

Free hotdogs at restore grand opening 5 mins from our house!

Those eye lashes

Family dinner on the floor. Jamir made fried shrimp

Loves to crawl on the fan

Guilty face after eating the coupon

Seeing a wild panther at the zoo

Brushing teeth together. Ben loves his toothbrush

The tomatoes the chickens knocked off...gr

On the jet boat ride for Jamirs work. It was really fun and it had a lot of cool history of the rouge valley

We were the youngest there

I was worried Ben would cry, but he just slept and then calmly Sat on my lap. He's the best

A house along the river that is 16000 sq feet. That's right. It was huge

Cheeks squished from the life jacket

On the way to camp at Joseph Stewart park. The running stroller had to be tied on the back
First time camping! We went with our ward. I was worried he would wake people up but he didn't cry at all. He likes to sleep next to us. I kept feeling his nose at night to see if he was cold but he was fine
In the morning. We went for a beautiful run on a trail and then has yummy food with the ward

A little nature walk after breakfast

Relaxing

They made salsa from garden tomatoes

All tired from camping. He took a 2 hr nap

Beautiful sunset

Both chickens are laying. It almost makes up for them eating my tomatoes, flowers and everything

Ben loved this.

Only he can really pull this off.
