Vancouver and Oneonta Gorge

We drove up to Vancouver for the Labor Day weekend for Oliver's 3rd birthday. We spent time with family at the party, hiked, swam in the hotel pool, and watched the BYU game! We stayed at our favorite bed and breakfast in Camas, and watched part of the game there. We also ended up doing a little hike just us that was amazing! We drove home tired, but it was a nice getaway. And Ben did great!

first cantaloupe! It was really sweet

Poor Ben got sick for a couple days. I think it was the camping.

I think he liked it

first time swimming! He liked it okay. the water was a little cold.

double bed. But I actually slept really well.

The Oneonta Gorge Falls. Amazing! It was really cold, but so pretty. It was like the slot canyons in St. George, only green. We had to climb over big logs, but passed Ben between us and got out ok. People looked at us a little silly when they saw we brought a baby, but it really wasn't that bad. Ben liked the adventure. And Jamir jumped in the waterfall! Really pretty place. I was disappointed in my point and shoot's inability to shoot in auto. But at least I have the memory.

we had to climb over those logs..they were big. you can see the little people behind us that show the size

And when we got back, the garden and Manolo was waiting for us.
