24

I had a good birthday weekend with Jamir. We went to eat at the Coach House (special, because we never really eat out), took some pictures on a dock, and watched "McFarland, USA"(also something special because we never see movies) on Friday and then on Saturday, I got some new glasses (mine are from junior high), explored Bandon Beaches, and ate ice cream at our favorite Face Rock Creamery (cheese samples! the best!). Jamir cooked dinner for me today (Grandma's spear ribs:) so it was a nice relaxing weekend with the husband.

Jamir me cocino hoy.

The lime tree's first flower!
At the Coach House. The birds were not afraid to get really close to us (or our food!)

My attempt at taking some more pictures. It was extremely windy and cold so it wasn't the best idea. The dock kept floating around so the camera wasn't going to be still. But it was worth the try until next time.

I don't normally report on movies, but Jamir and I loved this movie! I could relate so much because of the cross country, but also because of how different the culture is between American and Latino. It was funny, but also made us tear up a little. It made me miss being on a team. Jamir also thought the culture was accurately expressed.

Cheesecake, as usual.
The walk along Bandon Beach was very scenic, but so so cold and windy. That place is always windy. I'm paying for it today with coughing and loss of voice. It was still incredibly beautiful.
Huge rocks at Bandon Beach

Cove. It's supposed to look like an elephant, but you cannot tell from the picture.

Face rock, can you see it?
There were yellow flowers all along the coast.
Coquille River lighthouse
One of the coolest beaches we have been to.
And then to finish with some ice cream.
